Planning and DIY projects

This week was nuts in terms of the wedding planning! I received samples of the invitation that I chose (not with my customizations, but so that I could finalize color and cardstock options) so exciting! I also got my first estimate from a Baker (Sin Sweets) regarding our wedding cake!!! Can't wait to go do our first tasting.  I also got a call back regarding our FOCCUS test results, so we need to schedule that meeting with the Church.

I also spent quite a few hours yesterday creating a map to show how to get from the church to the reception site.  I will need to go back and create the actual direction portion, and I'm still not 100% sure about when and how I will send these out, but it's nice to know I have a customized map that I love!  I do have to give a quick shout out to Will, would never have been able to finish it, if it hadn't been for his help I never would have figured out how to do those finishing touches!

And as a nice round out to the week I got in about half an hours worth of work on my shoes. =)  I don't have the capacity to put pictures of anything up at the moment, but I'll post them as soon as I'm able.  I know there's still 300+ days to go, and I may be jumping the gun on many of these projects, but it will be so nice when things start getting stressful to know that some of these small details are already taken care of (and paid for!).

Hopefully some of the bigger things start falling into place and getting finalized.  Like musicians/dj, food choices, and the ceremony details, to name a few.   But if all goes according to plan I should have all the STDs, invites, Reply Cards, Escort Cards and potentially a few other things ordered and in hand sometime in August or early September.  Depending of course of whether I approve the customization work =)

I also hope Will and I get it together and go take these engagement pictures sometime before the wedding! =)

That's all for now, just a quick update and look into my week of planning!
